||Completed one of the coach education entry points, entry point 1 (PDP1 & PDP2), entry point 2 (PDP3), entry 3 Adult Amateur Licence and or equivalent as we all as three workshops from any of the available coach education workshops.
Once accepted onto the D Licence you will be required to complete online e-learning self-paced football fitness and performance analysis modules to prepare you for progression through the pathway.
The completion of the Child Welfare Workshop and Garda Vetting is a mandatory entry requirement.
All FAI Education should start with a Safeguarding 1 course and all participants must be FAI Garda Vetted.
Coaches must have completed one of;
Adult Amateur Licence
In addition to the above, coaches must also have completed 3 FAI Coach Education workshops and a further 2 mandatory workshops of Performance Analysis Intro and Football Fitness Intro prior to completing the National D Licence. These mandatory workshops will be made available to you upon purchase of the Learning Management System.
Workshops – 4V4, 7V7, FUTSAL, GK, PDP, etc.
All particiants will be required to upload their previous certificates after registration.
The course fee is €90 plus an additional €95 subscription fee to the Learning Management System.
Subscription to the Learning Management System is a mandatory course requirement.
A link to register to the LMS will be included in the payment confirmation email once registered below.

A link, along with the meeting ID and password, to the National D Licence Course will be emailed to the email address you provide on the evening before or morning of the course.
To access this course, you will need to click on the link or access via the meeting ID and password provided to you.
In Person Courses
Coaches should wear comfortable clothing and footwear for practical on pitch sessions and be prepared for all weather conditions.
Please bring a pen and notepad.
On completion of the course, a certificate of attendance will be emailed to the email address you have provided.
||The FAI National D Licence is designed to assist coaches working within the game in acquiring the specific knowledge skills and competence required at National D Licence Level.
The coach will enhance their individual coaching experiences as well as developing an understanding of the Coach Education Licence Pathway.
Participants will be asked to abide by the Code of Ethics / Conduct in Soccer and the Code of Ethics and Good Practice for Sport in Ireland.
Participants should ensure all necessary personal and health insurance is arranged prior to and for the full duration of the course.
Participants must also agree to abide by the rules laid down by the Football Association of Ireland and its staff.

Participants, who have paid for a course, shall not be entitled to refund if they are unable to attend a course. Any participant, who is unable to attend a scheduled course and has informed the Coach Education department of same, can reschedule to attend the course at a future date, of the participants choice, providing that course is not already fully booked.
The FAI reserve the right to cancel an education course in the unlikely event of the; minimum number of participants not meeting quota, weather negatively affecting participants safety, government guidelines etc.
If an event is cancelled by the FAI, each participant will be offered a full refund or placement on a future equivalent course.
If a participant registers for a course, without meeting the necessary prerequisites, the participant shall not be entitled to a refund. The fees received by the Association will be kept on credit and can be used by the participant to complete the necessary prerequisite courses
